Clothes!!,they are very delicate ,soft and have different textures based on what they are designed for. Clothes are bought for different purposes like weather,fashion ....
This clothes are made from different materials which gives them different textures and different compositions .
In our every day lives, it is impossible for us to live without clothes as they benefits us in serving different purposes and the most of all,is to cover our nakedness .
Inorder for this clothes to keep up with this ,it most be properly maintained. The maintenance do not just mean getting it washed ,but all goes more than a long way than that.
Have you ever seen and wondered? some symbols your aren't familiar with on the labels of your clothes . I guess most of us just ignores it, and just treat almost of all your clothes the same way . But mind you,it isn't a good idea because,they are different types of clothes composed of different types of materials that shouldn't be treated the same way you treat others .
Today we would be considering different types of those symbols and what they mean as those symbols gives us crucial informations on how to treat those clothes inorder to increase their span. Of course no one would like to keep on buying new clothes as a result of others unable to last long.
This symbols are been grouped into the following categories:
•WASHING SYMBOLS
•BLEACHING SYMBOLS
•IRONING SYMBOLS
•DRYING SYMBOLS.
•Washing symbols
Anytime you see this bucket like symbols it indicates the information it telling you is about how the fabric is to be washed .
We begin with the first washing symbols from the image above :
• The bucket like image filled with water with the bucket been crossed signifies that the fabric shouldn't be washed . Yeah ,I know it will sound strange but no need to worry if it get dirty you simply dry clean it but don't wash it.
•This other image with the hand deeped inside the bucket filled with water signifies that the fabrics should be washed using hands (hand washing) and nothing else like using the washing machine.
•Thirdly, the bucket like image with 1 bar underneath signifies "mild wash" which means the fabric should be washed with along side with very few clothes the clothes should be at most fill one third of the washing machines drum.
•Lastly,this symbol signifies that the clothes should be washed very mildly just as the third one but this time the clothes in the machine will be more fewer.
•Bleaching symbols.
Any symbol on the labels of your clothes that has the triangular shape simply signifies ,that it tells you the information on bleaching the fabric.
•Firstly,the first symbol on the image above simply signifies that the fabric shouldn't be bleached at all. That means you must not use bleach on it .
• secondly,the second symbols signifies that the bleach used on the fabric should be an oxygenated bleach ."oxygenated bleach are bleaches with no chlorine content .
•lastly, this label signifies that any type of bleached could be used on this fabric either oxygenated or non oxygenated ......
We move on to the next symbol:
•Ironing Symbol.
This symbols tell us or informs us on how to treat this fabric regarding to ironing .
•Firstly,the first symbol with the iron like shape object crossed signifies that the fabric shouldn't be ironed at all .
•Secondly, the image with 1 dot signifies that the fabric should be ironed at a low temperature if exceeded could damage the clothe or fabric.
•Thirdly,the image with 2 dots signifies that the fabric should be iron at medium temperature (not to low not to high).
•Fourtly,the image with 3 dots signifies that the fabric should be iron at an high temperature .
Finally,we move on to the last category :
•Dryning Symbols.
Keep in mind any symbol with a rectangular shape that you see on your clothes labels simply tells us an information regarding drying of the clothe.
•Firstly, the first symbol above signifies the clothes shouldn't be tumble dried in the sense that, it should not be dried by the washing machine .
•Secondly,the next symbol signifies the clothes can be tumble dried thus,can be dried by the washing machine .
•Thirdly, the symbol signifies "mild tumble dry" which means it should be dried in the washing machine with very few clothes .
•Fourtly, this symbol signifies that the clothes should be line dried which means or involve hanging the clothes on a rope.
•Lastly,this symbol simplifies "flat drying" which means it should be dried by laying it flat on a surface .
Clothes are very essential and one of our utmost concern so should be properly treated and handled inorder to last long .
