HOW I DEFEATED GRAVITY WITH JUST THIS SIMPLE MATERIALS(DIY SCIENCE).

          We are all common with the term "gravity" as it is the most common and popular force earth this acts within his field as it pulls and attract objects towards the center of the earth .

        Later on ,man was able to defile and defeat gravity thanks to man's quest for innovations .

        If your reading this article today ,consider your self lucky as today you would learn to defy gravity with a just a balloon.

        It's interesting right to see a balloon floating at mid air but first of all we would proceed to see the science behind it. For you to accomplish this goal you would have to fill the balloon up with a gas lighter than air.i.e hydrogen gas . Thus making it o float using Archimedes principle.

           Calm  down , I know by now you must be wondering how to get an hydrogen but this is getting lot more intereating as today we would be learning how to produce the hydrogen gas with some simple and common items around you that's "DIY Science" Do It Yourself .

        The materials i used to carryout this experiment are below :

• A beverage bottle (that has a wide radius at the bottom .

• Aluminum Foil (like a roll).

• Caustic soda (like 3-4 scoops of a table spoon)

• And Finally The balloon.

• A rubber glove (inorder to handle the caustic soda as it is harzardious if it makes contact with the skin.

• Oven mitt( you would wear it when carryout the experiment as they will heat up and get really hot).

           On getting this materials above we move to the experiment :

- Full the bottle with at least 3-4 scoops of the table spoon.Note that caustic soda is hazardous and you should touch it with your bare hands so it's advice to wear and hand glove when pouring it into the bottle.

- Pour water into the bottle containing the caustic soda . Please a reasonable amount of water just like your making tea. You would notice the bottle getting warmer .

-Then  insert the roll of aluminium foil gradually into the solution . You would notice  it will start burning out as you would see the solution turning black or grey .

- please wear a oven mitt because at this point the bottle is getting really hurt as it is an exothermic reaction between Aluminium(Al) and casutic soda (NaoH) inorder to produce hydrogen gas and might cause burns if you use your bare hands.Then insert the mouth of the balloon to the mouth of the bottle then you would notice the balloon getting inflated . Congrats , the balloon is getting inflated with hydrogen gas then when it's been inflated to a point to make sure it doesn't burst pull it out holding the tip then tie the balloon up with a thread.

                Then finally Let go of the balloon the see what happens . The balloon will start levetating and start to float at mid air awesome right.
